I am so amazed at how strong and nice you are. You are such a positive person to be able to take such a horrible situation and make something good out of it. I am sure it was still hard no matter what you did, but it is better than all of the vindictive things that I would have wanted to do. We all know you deserve someone better that will love you honestly and unconditionally.

first, teanne my mom is a friend of urs in CA (Jeanne). i live in NW IN and don't watch the news so didn't see this horrible thing u went through. i think you did the greatest thing by donating all the food and flowers to the senior center. you and your mom have big hearts.
second and lastly, why does it take a guy or girl the last minute to back out? espec. after it costs money and a person's heart....
i wish you all the best Teanne....things will work out and trust me girlfriend karma has a…

Nicely done, screw politically correctness. You are right on, just like Teanne is. We are the ones that have been blessed with her story and her ability to rise above an issue and turn it into something good.
Dad, thank you for giving her the nudge to bring her life to us. Teanne, God will reward you many fold for the kindness that you have shown to others and you cannot imagine the good that is going to happen because of your little step out of your comfort zone. Thank You!

Teanne,
You are an EXCEPTIONAL person. What a fool that guy must be, however, I suspect you are better off without him! I'm sure good things will come your way.
You looked GREAT on tv and what a fabulous thing you did. You inspire me to do something good as well!

Thank you all for your support to Teanne. Shortly after the news story aired we were bombarded with calls and emails from newspapers, TV shows, well-wishers, friends, family, strangers, etc.
At their request, Teanne and I are meeting with the seniors of the retirement home this coming week. To express their gratitude, they plan to surprise Teanne with something special. While I am in Chicago, Fox and Friends has asked for an interview with us both to share how this all came about and where we g…

I can only imagine what you must have gone through during those few days before your not-to-be wedding. As a man, I can only say that we are not all jerks. You did a very good thing.

You are great. Most poeple would have holed up and cried. I am proud of you, expecially for going on the honeymoon without that boy. :)

I applaud you for taking such an unselfish attitude toward your devastating situation. You are "good people"! Pat yourself on the back and move on. You have made such a difference in the lives of the people you touched! My daughter is about your age and she works as a nurse in a home similar to the one you held your genenrous event in. She and I are both very touched by your thoughtfulness and generosity. She said that you have no idea what a difference you made in the lives of those people. She…
